What is Display Board

A display board is an electronic devive for presentation of images or text as well as video which without producing a permanent record. Electronic visual displays include television sets, computer monitors and digital signage  for shop. In an LED display, thousands of tiny LED bulbs are lined up next to each other to create an image. LED signage is particularly popular in outdoor settings because it is rugged, long lasting, and easy to see even in daylight.

Function

A display board is use to convey some message or information to the viewer according to the electronic input signal that receive by the display board.

Conventional display board

Neon display are electric display lighted by long luminous gas-discharge tubes that contain rarefied neon  or other gases. It was first introduced in 1910 at the Paris Motor Show, it are produce by the craft of bending glass tubing into shapes. A worker skilled in this craft is known as a glass bender, neon or tube bender. The neon signage industry has declined in the past several decades, and cities are now frequently used the LED display board.

Light-emitting diode (LED) technology is frequently used in signs. This technology, first used primarily at sporting events, later appeared at businesses, churches, schools, and government buildings. Brightness of LED signs can vary, leading to some municipalities in the US  banning their use due to issues such as light pollution. Today, LED technology is also used in light panels to illuminate advertising graphics in public places including malls, subways, and airports

Indoor and outdoor display difference

LED displays can generally be broken up into two broad categories that will meet the needs of nearly anyone seeking an energy efficient way reaching more people and getting their message across–indoor displays and outdoor displays. But what people often don’t realize is the differences that take place in terms of the manufacturing of these products. Here is a closer look at the differences between the indoor LED displays and outdoor LED displays that we manufacture. No matter the type of LED display you are looking to purchase, there are certain characteristics that you should be sure to take into account. There are reasons why we manufacture indoor LED displays the way we do, and there are other reasons why outdoor LED displays are manufactured differently. When deciding which LED sign is right for you, be sure to take each of these factors into consideration.

1) Display solution-One difference between indoor LED displays and outdoor LED displays relates to the resolutions that the signs offer. Because outdoor LED signs are normally intended to be viewed from farther distances than their indoor counterparts, outdoor signs can rely on lower resolutions with very little compromise in terms of visibility. Indoor LED signs that are intended to be viewed from shorter distances require higher resolutions to achieve picture with optimal quality.

2) Display Brightness-The brightness of LED displays can also differ between indoor and outdoor signs. This is because bright sunlight can make dull displays more difficult to read whereas indoor signs do not have to compete with the unpredictability of outdoor weather conditions. Thus, indoor LED signs are usually manufactured to be less bright.

3) Display Durability-The most obvious and commonly thought of difference between indoor LED signs and outdoor LED signs relates to the ability of the display to withstand inclimate weather conditions. Because indoor LED displays are not exposed to the elements, additional protections are not necessary, whereas with outdoor LED displays, weather protection is not an option, especially in certain geographic regions where extreme weather conditions are frequently experienced.
